Spyware, Malware is yet another breach of security for the PC user. I have had various products running for a while but most of these charge for their 'pro-editions' so I have recently settled on Spyware Terminator. This product is a thorough security application that not only finds and removes most instances of malware, but also prevents future infection by immunising your system plus providing real-time protection. It has an excellent interface and is so easy to find your way around. During installation there is an option to install Crawler's Web Security Guard along with ST. I've got more than enough additional toolbars so I simply unticked the box. Try it out though, if you wish!

Personally, I'd rely not on one but a couple of antispyware progs, AdAware and Spybot S&D or even AVG antispyware. None of them catch everything but at least two together will catch 99.9999%. Spybot has a particular useful feature in that it can immunize your browser against malware too.
