It's time to Wise Up to Wyzo!

I've just started using a new web browser, Wyzo that's been built around Firefox so it should look familiar to lot's of you. It's simple homepage lets you search 33 different engines from the same screen via a drop-down box. There are different engines on offer for different categories, so whether its web, torrents, images, video etc. you'll have plenty of choice. One great feature is the integrated ability to download torrents with just one click.
I know that BitTorrent gets a lot of bad press, however it can be used to download any type of file and there are a lot of great torrent files to download.
In additon, if you prefer, you can just add the FireTorrent and Wyzo start page to your Firefox browser as an add-on by going to www.wyzo.com/downloads and setting http://start.wyzo.com as your homepage. Enjoy......

Torrent searching and handling has been built into the Opera browser for quite some time now.
As to the legitimacy of torrents, if you're using them to download and share copyright material then you are breaking the law in most countries. But, there are lots of downloads (often big software distributions and intra company updates) that represent a small but totally legit use of the software.
