There's plenty of television broadcasts on the web so as a result you're now seeing some cool websites springing up that show you where you can get your tv fix! The best one I've found so far is WWiTV which has over 2,300 channels, selected by language, country or alternatively common categories like Kids, Lifestyle, Movies etc.
It's certainly not the prettiest web site you'll see, but with it's high number of channels on such a wide range of subjects it is a great starting point. The site uses the key Media Players; Windows Media Player, Quick Time or RealPlayer so make sure you have the latest versions installed.
